
The prosecution led by Inspector of Police Jackson Chidunda named the other accused as Haruna Nkuye (24), a student from Open University and Rajabu Ally (41).
Before principal resident magistrate Huruma Shahidi, it was alleged that the accused committed the offence on December 8, last year, at Chanika area, within Ilala District.
It was alleged that on the material day the accused murdered Ramadhani Halili, Shan Rajabu and Thomas Otemu.
The accused were not allowed to enter any plea because the Kisutu Court does not have jurisdiction to hear the case which are normally heard at High Court.
According to the prosecution, investigations into the case are incomplete.Before Magistrate Shahidi adjourned the case, the accused Mustapha requested the court to order the prosecution to take him to the hospital for treatment after complaining of being brutally beaten by the police.
Replying to that request, Magistrate Shahidi said that the accused will be treated from the prison as it also has a hospital. The case was adjourned until July 14, this year when it comes up for mention. All the accused remained in custody
